10th Annual (Virtual) Casino Night for CureLGMD2i!

It is with mixed emotions that we will be virtually hosting our 10th Annual Casino Event to benefit CureLGMD2i. Over the years, the support of our friends, family and local community has helped to make Casino Night our flagship fundraising event. However, the current COVID situation is requiring us to do things a bit differently. Although we will miss getting together in person with our supporters and loved ones, we are excited to make our 10th Annual Casino Night an international event! The night will be hosted by our lovely emcee, Melissa Grove, a fellow warrior living with LGMD2i! Join us for a happy hour from the comfort of your own home, grab a cocktail and join in the fun and excitement while spreading awareness and supporting research for this rare and progressive form of muscular dystrophy. Join us for a virtual happy hour and auction event via zoom. Our virtual event will have games of chance and the auction items that you love but none of the hassle of leaving your house. Register now to make sure you can view all the prizes in advance of the event. We are actively seeking sponsorships and prize donations to make this our most successful event to date! All proceeds will be used to continue supporting research in drug therapies, gene editing, and patient conferences.

CureLGMD2i is a non-profit organization focused on raising funds to support research for a cure for a rare and progressive type of muscular dystrophy. The Brazzo Family established this fund in 2011 when their daughter, Samantha, was diagnosed with Limb Girdle Muscular Dystrophy Type 2i. To date, CureLGMD2i has provided over $630,000 to support research programs who are working on LGMD2i. Proceeds from this virtual event will be used to continue funding research for drug development, gene therapy and CRISPR technique to rescue so many who are negatively affected by this condition.
We are so excited to announce that Vegas loving Melissa Grove will be our emcee for our virtual event this year! As a person living with LGMD2i, a therapist, and a professional speaker, she presents a unique, fun spin on the problems faced by people surviving and thriving with this disease. You don't want miss out on the opportunity to see her in action!
